Diploma in Payroll Administration
Certificate in bookkeeping
Computer Skills must include:
MS Office – strong excel
Pastel Partner/Express and
Pastel Payroll
Good communication skills – verbal and written
Capture data quickly, effectively and on time
Reporting skills is key
Strong admin skills
Organized and logical thinker
Positive energy
Formal training
Team player and leader
Self motivated and Self driven

• Accounts Function will include:
o Strong debt collection experience and skills.
o Full Debtors Function
o Strong reconciliation skills
• Payroll Function will include
o Ensure systems and procedures are in place for the processing of monthly payroll
o Responsible for capturing payroll accurately including overtime and leave
o Ensure that timeous and accurate salaries are paid
o Responsible for printing monthly salary pay slips
o Investigates and resolves payroll queries
o Keep accurate record of leave
o Captures data in respect of new appointments from the engagement form
o Prepare new contracts
o Ensure all personnel records are current and accurate
o Responsible for handing over all documentation for new engagements to the new employee and receive all completed documents for payroll capture
o Apply for tax directives via SARS e filing
o Complete UI19 form as and when required
• Minimum 3 years experience in payroll administration / Accounting
